As part of our 50th anniversary celebration the club will be hosting a picnic at Wannamaker County Park in North Charleston on Saturday 10 July 2021. It will be held from about 9am to 4pm, with lunch and drinks provided by CARS. BYOB if you choose.
The picnic is open to all hams and those interested in becoming a ham. CARS will cover park entry fees for club members who RSVP.
We plan to bring the communications trailer and operate on HF and VHF. This will be a good opportunity to get on the air if you don’t have the privileges or station at home.
